What Actually Happens in a Free Site Assessment
No pitch, no pressure. Here's exactly what we do on site and what you get at the end.
We offer free site assessments, and the most common question we get is: what's the catch? There isn't one. Here's what actually happens.
We visit the site with you
A senior technician walks the location with whoever manages security or loss prevention. We're not just taking measurements, we're learning how the site operates, where incidents happen, and what existing infrastructure is in place.
We document everything
Ceiling heights, cable routes, existing cameras and their condition, network infrastructure, power availability, and any access constraints. We photograph blind spots and coverage gaps. Everything is documented, not just held in someone's head.
You get a written report
Within a few days of the visit, we deliver a written assessment for each location visited. It covers existing system condition, recommended coverage changes, camera placement, cabling requirements, and a ballpark cost range.
No obligation to proceed
The assessment is ours to conduct and yours to keep. You can use it to compare vendors, take it to procurement, or file it for when budget is available. We don't follow up aggressively, if you want to move forward, you'll know where to find us.
Most clients who do an assessment proceed to a proposal. But the assessment stands on its own as useful documentation of what you have and what you need.
